My feedback should weigh 100 times more weight than anybody else's feedback since I've been using Parkway for five years now. They pick up from my house twice per week, EVERY WEEK, and we probably get at least 50 pieces cleaned each week! Every single thing they return is professionally cleaned and pressed, delivered on time and smells great! We've never had one issue with a missing piece of clothing or damaged property . I agree that they need to build their Internet presence because when I read that two of their feedback's were bad I was horrified because I'm confident that they had to be left by their competition jealous from all of the business they have lost! These are great people and they've got a wonderful business...take it from an avid user of their services!
They STOLE my suit jacket. I brought in a summer suit jacket to be cleaned. I got it back with the lining stained and ripped. It was a brand new jacket. They said they would fix it. The whole summer has gone by and the owner won't return my calls. They have kept my jacket. They won't call to tell why I can't get my jacket back. I have to go in person to beg for my jacket back. Every time I walk in they tell me they are working on it or the owner is on vacation or ......they are terrible. No respect for private property. This is th second piece of clothing they have ruined. The owner once told me she does not care what people think. Social media and public opinion is nothing to her. At this point I will keep trying to get my jacket back. I will keep posting updates until I get my jacket back. Probably won't help. Any suggestions on how to get my property back?
Initially, I planned on both having some collared shirts dry-cleaned and washed. However, the person at the counter told me that I don't need any dry cleaning so I decided to go with just all of them washed. I did request that they add "heavy" starch to the finish since I needed these in preparation for a job interview.
Used this cleaner for many years and never had an issues. Good and friendly service!
I returned a few days later to pick my clothes up, and they were nicely folded and boxed neatly in a bag (I did give them a tip). When I got home, I noticed that my blue collard shirt had some white specks/stains on the front, which I then tried to remove with soap & water. Turns out, they don't come off. Not only that, the "starch" they put on it was barely anything to be called starch, since it was full of wrinkles the first day.
I just went their last week to have my comforter cleaned because it is too big to fit in the washer. When I got it back home it neither smelled or looked it, it was the same way it was when I dropped it off 60 dollars waisted. NEVER GOING BACK, if I could post lower than 1 star I would
I would not recommend this place to anyone, since it fails to meet the #1 criteria of any dry-cleaning store. That your clothes are safe and that the work is done on-time. If it fails to meet or cast doubt on any of these, it is clearly not worth the place to waste your time or money. Much better to have washed and pressed these myself.
So, this is my first time getting something dry-cleaned in a while, and reading their long history in the area, I thought it would better than the VIP cleaners across the street.
