I've been going to sun light salon for years. Today's service was my last visit here and I'd highly recommend no one choose this place if you are looking for a nail salon. They are shady and extremely dishonest. I went in today to replace my nails that looked horrible from my last visit. Everything had to be removed and re done. Fungus was even found to be under a couple of my nails. Totally unacceptable! She tried to charge me extra because everything had to be removed and when I complained she treated me as if I was lying to her about who did them and when and how much I paid for them. I'll never go back here and I'd suggest if you are looking for reviews you don't either.
Today I got there at 230 had a new guy who took 2 hrs to do a fill. I asked for a design out of the book. Just white lines cause I knew he was new and I had already been there awhile. He did a different design on each finger added diamonds when I asked for glitter. Then charged me $48 when basically I was his guinea pig. Don't think I'll be going back. Seems to be going down hill since Johnny and his wife are gone
Went to get a pedicure on sunday, waited for almost an hour to get them done. The actual pedicure was horrible, nails were uneven and jagged, i kept asking if she could fix it, she became annoyed. I chose to get a gel pedicure with a design. The gel wasnt evenly coated, or covered my whole nail, it looked as if my nails were weeks old! By the next day 4 of them peeled off. I went back and they fixed it for free (was satisfied). But by tuesday all but one of the gels came off. I spent $45 + a tip. Won't be going back.
Love this salon! Have came here for a boy 4 years now, and I have never had a bad experience. There prices are a bit expensive, but I don't mind when I have great service! You only see bad reviews because no one takes the time to write a good review. I recommend come here!
They do great manicures.... But I am not too sure on their sanitization for the pedicure spas. I got a pedicure and two days later, my toe started hurting, and within a few weeks the toe nail had become infected and the nail fell off... If they did a better job sanitizing I would give them 5 stars... if it weren't for the fact that they take their manicure equipment out of sterile sealed packaging I wouldn't be getting a manicure any longer.
